Our venues
Pépi Pépi
A peasant nursery on the Graines de Paysans agricultural test site, the network’s first project in Brussels. Everything grows from farmer-saved seeds: rare fruit trees, berries, shrubs and native species.See the venueRefresh
A market garden set up on a rooftop in Ixelles: the L[ag]UM farm grows fruit and vegetables in the heart of the city, open to the neighbourhood. It is run by Refresh, a non-profit that trains people far from employment and guides them into sustainable food jobs.See the venueBois de Rode Bos
An unusual fruit tree nursery on the edge of the Sonian Forest. Varieties are selected, tested in the field, then propagated on site by sowing, grafting and cuttings.See the venueTerres de lien
An ecological market garden in Linkebeek, at the gates of Brussels, growing vegetables for the surrounding neighbourhoods while restoring soil life.See the venueSonian Forest
The Sonian Forest is the great green lung of Brussels: more than 4,000 hectares of cathedral beech forest on the edge of the city, part of which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its forest trails, ponds and valleys make it an ideal setting for an outdoor team outing, just minutes from the city centre. A meeting room is available at our nearby partner venues.See the venuePossible experiences
End of year event
A festive drink to close the year at one of our partner venues with a reception room: local hot and cold drinks, seasonal bites and a warm atmosphere away from the office. Combine it with an experience that makes sense, like planting trees at one of our eco venues, or with an indoor activity such as a herbal tea workshop or building wildlife shelters. A special end of year moment that leaves a real mark on the ground.See the experienceNursery workshop
One plant can give dozens. Depending on the season, you learn the nursery grower’s gestures: sowing and pricking out in spring, grafting fruit trees, hardwood cuttings in winter, softwood cuttings under cover in summer, layering.See the experienceOrchard pruning
Take part in caring for a collection orchard. In spring the work is planting: renewing ageing trees, bringing in new varieties, learning how a tree is put in the ground and how an orchard is run. In autumn it is pruning and thinning, to let the light back in and prepare the next harvests, with the cut branches chipped on the spot to feed the soil. Picnic possible on site when the weather allows.See the experienceRooftop workshop
On the L[ag]UM rooftop farm above Ixelles, a visit followed by a hands-on workshop: cuttings, seed bombs, an insect hotel or ivy laundry detergent. Everyone leaves with what they made.See the experienceHerbal teas
Discover which plants on site make good herbal teas and what their medicinal properties are. The workshop includes a tour of the site, and everyone leaves with a pack of herbal tea.See the experienceMarket gardening
Hands in the soil alongside the growers: sowing, mulching, harvesting. A concrete look at what living-soil farming asks for, and what it gives back.See the experienceMeeting in nature
A working session, a seminar or a retrospective held outdoors, on one of our partner sites. A breath of fresh air to think differently, together.See the experienceSite visit
The visit is led by someone who works on the ground, who shows you how things really happen there, day to day: what has been done, what works, what is still hard. The reality of the field, unfiltered.See the experienceEthical walking dinner
At Mundo Matongé in Ixelles, in ReFresh XL's bright room opening onto a garden and terrace, a walking dinner prepared by trainees learning sustainable cooking trades. Verrines, filled rolls and seasonal wraps made with fresh, local produce. Every bite supports professional integration.See the experienceWildlife shelters
Insect hotels, bird nest boxes, hedgehog shelters, bat roosts or piles of wood and stones: as a team, you build all kinds of shelters for small wildlife with natural and reclaimed materials, then install them on the site. The people who run the venue explain who each shelter is for and where to place it. The shelters stay on site and welcome wildlife all year round.See the experienceBike ride in the Sonian Forest
A 2 hour guided bike ride along the trails of the Sonian Forest. Between century old beech trees, ponds and valleys, your team discovers this great forest on the edge of Brussels, its history and how it is managed, at a pace everyone can follow. Combine it with an experience at one of our Brussels venues. A meeting room is available at our nearby partner venues.See the experienceForest bathing
A slow sensory immersion under the beech canopy, led by a certified shinrin yoku guide. You walk little and stop often, waking up sight, hearing, smell and touch. The session closes with a shared moment as a group. No fitness level required.See the experienceFrequently asked questions
